I started a thread during last years ALCS asking for ways to listen to the games in my shop. AM reception is complete shit, and FM is mediocre at best, even though there are no local FM sports stations.

BTW...is this the first year that they are going to carry all the baseball games? I believe I checked into it last year and read that the only games on were ESPN radio covered games.

yeah its the first year. All the games will be on consecutive channels ie, 160-175, that way you can just surf through the games easier

Thats right, the best part is the service is still 9.99 a month and if you add any extra XM's to the plan they are only 6.99 a month. Rack that.

I got the season package from mlb.com last year; I think it was only $14.95 for the season, for every single game, home and away radio broadcasts. Downside was that you're tied to a pc, upside is thousands of hours of the moonman.

Yeah XM radio is a rack.

The best reception in a building is near a window, you might not pick up a signal at all near the center

XM goes up to $12.95 a month starting April 1, they do offer multi year subscriptions to make the cost per month less.

I'll think about getting it when my old bucket of bolts has been run into the ground
and I'm ready for a new car.

His shtick is old news, time to move into the new millenium.

I vote XM for nothing else other than MLB games for me personally, but all kidding aside I have alot of recept. problems at work, the antena definately needs to be outside in the clear.
