Air Fryers

Post by Ken »

Looking for suggestions, specifically for wings . Mind you, I have been totally against these things as I much prefer a deep fry if done properly. But now, it's come to the point to where I'm sick and fucking tired of cleaning my deep fryer every month or so. Such a pain in the ass. Hell, I haven't deep fried wings in some good ol' peanut oil in about a year now... and that is waaaaay too long for me to go without.

Any of you have suggestions for brands/models?

I tried a $60 air unit and it worked pretty well, but . . .

It was mostly plastic and everything we cooked smelled and tasted like it. I thought the plastic smell would go away after a few uses but no way. Trash.

I would say spend a little more and get a non plastic unit.

Buy nice or buy twice the say.

Have you done wings in them and if so, how?

I have the Breville Smart Oven Air Fryer Pro, a phenomenal appliance that I use more than my regular oven. Yes it is expensive but yes it is worth it. Check it out.
