Funny, they define "loneliest" cities solely by percentage of one person households.

It's no wonder all the California cities rank so low. Nobody can afford to live alone.

That. And if you noticed. The top 10 are east of the Mississippi River.

Shitty weather, lack of real mountains and a real Ocean.

Imagine having to be indoors in the winter and summer because the weather sucks so much.
