Today I learned

Post by Screw_Michigan »

That New York Groove is not a Kiss song nor an Ace Frehley song. It's a song originally written by a band called Hello. Great track.

You learn something new every day! Hey Scooter from Anacrime: Watch me embed this youtube video correctly. Take notes!

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

I haven’t watched any regular season NFL games in a couple of years at least. Maybe one or two per season if the Niners are playing the Rams and they’re carrying it here. Just not interested anymore.

It was also written in the late 70s.

I guess British boy-band glam rock wasn’t one of the genres I was into at the time. After all I did reach adulthood several years earlier.

And Kiss…TBH was something to be made fun of, at best.

Never was into bands that wore the girl-look makeup and the poofy hair. Imagine that, Kierland! The Britney Fox, Motley Crue, Cinderella thing I just wasn’t interested in.

A buddy who’s 15 years younger than me is a drummer/singer in a band that worships KISS and that goofy period. He’s well aware of my disdain for the music, but I still hold my tongue around their crowd. No point in pissing folks off. They put on a helluva show and it’s a lot of fun when they play.

'Kiss Meets the Phantom of the Park' is a brilliant film. New York Groove features prominently in the overseas versions.

Think 'Phantom of the Paradise' with Paul Williams but shittier writing.

Sure.

I was working rock bars in the early ‘80s. Too many Poison and Ratt type bands. But they did bring in some fine women.

There was some music I enjoyed. Tora Tora was good. Liked some Dokken songs.
