Thankfully, none of his family members would ever read this board.

You guys are brutal.

Let’s avoid referencing Good Day in Hell.

Ack! Too late.

Never was a big Eagles fan, but Tryin’ (first album) was a Meisner composition that I’ve always liked.

Not being much of an Eagles fan either, had never heard that song. Definitely among their better ones.

Getting something “new” to you is always challenging. That one I’ll consider a a bonus!

Take it easy, Randy.

Not much of a challenge at all. Much more music out there that I haven't heard than what I have.

Have never played the studio version. Spun the Eagles' live version once and the Gipsy Kings' a few times. But the century is still young, so you never know.

Have never played the familiar studio versions of Stairway to Heaven or Free Bird either, and have no plans to.

In my book this is the vocal sound of the Eagles (1973):

Always liked Poco better. And the Flying Burrito Brothers/Gram Parsons.

Good find, Diego.

Smackie, I’ve whittled my LP collection down to about 600 albums. I’ve given a lot of stuff to a friend’s son who is getting into 60s and 70s stuff. But I can’t let go of the remaining albums. Lots of obscure things. Keeping very few common albums. That’s what I gave the kid. You’d think I’d given him a car! 99% of the albums are in mint condition. I’ve got no computer any more and no way to transfer music to CD or to a storage device. Been playing Crabby Appleton, Mistress, Butts Band, UK, Stranglers, Atomic Rooster, Dust…having major flashbacks! 😄

The guy who serviced my turntable wants to buy what I have remaining, but I won’t let them go for less than $7500 so I guess I’m keeping ‘em all.

No more Tequila Sunrise's.

Eagle concerts were always a great way to score pussy.

90% chicks.

Reminds me of going down to Polk street where all the hot chicks would hang out and party with the gay guys so they didn't get hit on by scumbags like you guys. Then when everyone is wasted and you're the only straight guy.

It was like fish in a barrel.

Never understood why you would go to a club with 80% guys and try and get laid.

I remember a friend of mine asking why the fuck are you going down there. I said, don't worry about it.

They'd end up with some fat horny chick at the end of the night... and I'd be batting %1000 again with a smoke show.

Too funny.
