That is suspicious. It'll be interesting to see if a major distraction keeps the press conference out of the news. A document dump about Trump's russia ties, airplane crash, etc.
Shut up, Randy!

The Super Bowl was the distraction, for us.
I'm interested in global reaction to this press conference.
What will others see, since our government is playing word games with us.

Also, the comment from Youtubers:

Thomas: Also, How does the military know that these objects don't contain nuclear dirty bomb material, shooting down an object that contains material like this could spread all across any downwind areas.

T.Dog: Something is not right. They wait and wait on the "spy balloon " but now they bust out of the gate like their hair is on fire to shoot something down that's not identified? What do they know they arent saying.

Kyle Moore: The fact he won't talk about if they interfere with the piolts sensors and what the pilots have seen and that that will have to come out through the intelligence community should tell you everything you need to know that they know alot more about this than they are saying and they are being very careful to keep as much of this as possible hidden from us

Adam Moore: I have a feeling they know exactly what this is and who is doing it but trying to word this very carefully because it could constitute a declaration of war. Like JFK did calling the blockade of Cuba a quarantine.

S. Susan Marandi: Sooo, the 1st time they let an object fly across the country before downing it, but now they shoot before they can even identify it? Either they're panicking, or (more likely) lying. Either way, I wouldn't trust them with people's safety.

Mandy0827: He's saying he will only shoot if it's a threat.. and they have shot all these down. Apparently, they were a threat.

Camroc37:Even if this means nothing, it is freaky seeing something resembling a battle map of the US

It was said a few times in the press briefing that "sky monitoring" has been ramped up in the wake of the "Chinese spy balloon" encounter a week ago.
And with increased scrutiny of the sky, we have now had a rash of objects sightings and downings.

In a round-about way, we are being told that such objects have been flying around previously, but have basically been ignored.

Can anyone on this board remember a time when the U.S. military shot down an object over North America?
The spokesman said it has never happened before.

Now we've had a few shoot-downs in just a week's time.
Not normal at all.
Very alarming, actually.

What's up here?

There are a ton of questions surrounding the whole thing, and of course we will not be getting -----> the truth.

Senator Kennedy says multiple times here that objects such as these have been flying around for a long time.

Only now has the U.S. begun to actively shoot them down.

There are many more questions than answers.

I don't like him and I don't trust him.
I should make that clear.

That said, when these "representatives" of ours are making public statements about what is happening, I at least pay attention to it.
All the while I know that we are not being informed about the full truth of the matter.

But we are getting clues as to what might be coming in the future.

Excuse me? :o

In the fourth case of a mysterious object being shot from the skies above North America in the past fortnight, an octagonal aircraft was taken out by U.S. fighter jets 20,000 feet above Lake Huron on Sunday.

President Biden is expected to give public remarks as early as Thursday about an alleged Chinese
surveillance balloon and the three unidentified aerial objects the administration has shot down in
recent days, according to people familiar with the plans.

Biden is also expected to outline his decision...

Identified by the U.S. military last week.
Passed over parts of Hawaii -- and is now headed toward Mexico.

Another balloon...

American fighter planes intercepted an unidentified balloon on Friday over Utah but have determined it isn’t a threat
to national security, according to the North American Aerospace Defense Command.

The balloon, which is traveling eastward with the jetstream at around 43,000 feet, or roughly 8 miles, is “not
maneuverable” and poses “no hazard to flight safety,” the command said in a statement. It is not clear who owns the
balloon.

The incident comes about one year after the highly controversial weeklong saga in which...
