If this is what the residents of California want, who are those of us in other states to argue with them.
Look, they make all kinds of exceptions anyway so this is largely posturing. Further, I don't see this hurting the revenues of any states on the list.
Big nothing burger IMO.

Failing economy
Most of the population moving out (to Austin from what I hear)
Washed up transgender decathlon champion moving into the Governor's mansion

If California does leave the country they'd be ranked as the 5th largest economy in the world. And I'm sure they'd be happy to not have to carry the financial weight of freeloading states like Georgia.
But they won't. They aren't traytors like Texas...

So California talking about secession is ok, but Texas talking about it years ago makes them traitors.
