Can't wait to check out this new venue in downtown San Diego.
Should be open for all kinds of music later this year.

Looks a lot like Humphreys By The Bay. There will be lots of boaters & kayakers stacking up offshore when popular acts come to town.

Location is similar to Humphrey’s but this is supposed to hold 10,000+. With world class sound system and acoustics.

Humphrey’s prolly holds 1,000 max I would think. It’s been a while but I’ve been to a bunch of shows there including one Steely Dan show where we had a second floor room looking straight at the stage, right above the sound board. I did get tired of their sardine seating and too many obnoxious drunks.

An amphitheater like that is being built riverside in downtown Fort Myers FL. Not sure of the details, but it is something that. should work here.

We have an amphitheater in our little town in South Carolina. Not quite the same development budget or seating capacity, but I hear the acoustics are great

Hartford has a similar outdoor music venue, as does pretty much any city of any size these days. But it looks less vaginal.

Acoustics are generally pretty good, but not great. Not as good as a good concert hall, but better than the typical 70s built concrete echo chamber arenas.

But, it does seem that some of thse places have added baffling up near the ceiling to help a bit. My worst experience was Hampton Coliseum in the 80s at a Rush concert. Horrific echos.
