For sure things look different. And you can see the erf’s curvature from 35K as well. One of the easiest ways is to fly on an airline with a tail camera. Just tune your seat back tv to the tail camera channel. After about 31K you can begin to see the curvature at the horizon on screen. That same curvature isn’t there when you are on the ground.

You can also see the black of space or the firmament yourself. The next time you are on a plane get as low as you can and then look up thru the window. This is easier to see when the sun is on the opposite side of the plane from you. It also is easier in the exit row as you have more room.

Here are a few photos with the black of space/firmament clearly visible. There are thousands more with a quick Google search.






Some of these even show the erf’s curvature.

There are also a bunch on line showing your buddies betraying their country, but you don’t care about that.
