So, looks like he pretty well crushed the fukk out of his lower right leg. Don't know if his jacked up back got any worse.

Assuming no other major issues, does anyone think #16 is still out there?

I had him written off 3 years ago and won't make that prediction again. I think it could be out there. I'd like to see it.

What is he, 45? I cant imagine a comeback from the injuries described. Has to be at least 1.5-2 year recovery.

I think it all depends on whether or not there's joint injury. Joints are tricky. Bones, not so much. If it is simply a mushed tibia, they can just give him a carbon fiber one or whatever.

Anyhoo, after Augusta in '19, I'm not betting against him. Not betting for either, which I would have before '19.

No , I haven’t. Worst thing was a hairline fracture of right arm in 6th grade.

But the fact remains that fixing bones is child’s play compared to joints, especially the mother of all joints, the spine.

Assuming no joint problems, he’ll play golf this year, possibly even competitive golf, late this year.

Of course, Augusta is off the schedule, unfortunately.

How old do you have to be to join the Champions Tour?
Maybe he could rid with John Daly.

I'm not betting on the feline showing up at Augusta anytime before 2023. And even that is a stretch. If and when he's able to load weight on his back foot again is going to determine if he can even play a 9 hole muni with Charlie.

I think they can get a bone healed quicker than that. He'll be walking this year. Maybe swinging a club.

He'll play next year. Wlll he play well? Who knows.

What you've got to do is cut the hamstring on the back of his leg right at the bottom. He'll never play golf again, because his weight displacement goes back, all his weight is on his right foot, and he'll push everything off to the right. He'll never come through on anything. He'll quit the game.
Sin,
Carl

Tiger was going almost double the speed limit.

No toxicology report, but "Woods indicated he had not consumed any drugs or medications at the time of the crash."

lol

Okay.
I mean, Tiger said so.

Good enough for me, Charlie.

Time is not on his side.

- Mick

Back in the day, only Tiger and a couple/few others were *BOMBING* balls off the tee, and with long irons and fairway woods.

Now there are a bunch of dudes doing it, and they are much younger than Eldrick.

He has lost some of the advantage he used to enjoy.

Compare the bodies of the modern players with those of two or three generations ago.

It used to be that a number of really excellent players were visible tubby, lacking in muscle definition, or unfit.

Now the top guys are generally really buff.

It is noticeable.

And this is cheating how? You are all about taking every advantage and pounding your opponent into the ground. Tiger did just that, yet now it is cheating in your eyes? Nice hypocrisy.
