I was a good 10 feet away from her and she kept bitching. That was scary. Yesterday coming out of the same store an older guy was going in as I was leaving. He was also maskless and stopped to mention to me that I wasn't wearing one either, saying it is all BS. I agreed and as I call it theater--mentioning how some have to remove their shoes at the TSA checks at the airport---all theater.

It has been explained many time, including in the link that Jsc posted just above, that the primary benefit of a mask is that it is shown to have effectiveness in keeping the asymptomatic virus carrier who is wearing one, from spreading the virus to others.
