White House Wants Stimulus by August Recess With $1 Trillion Cap
The White House wants Congress to pass another stimulus package by the first week in August, before lawmakers head home for their annual summer recess, and to keep the cost at $1 trillion or less, according to Vice President Mike Pence’s top aide.
“I think we want to make sure that people that are still unemployed or hurting are protected but at the same time, we want to take into consideration the fact the economy is bouncing back and want to try to contain the amount of spending,” Marc Short, Pence’s chief of staff, said Tuesday in an interview with Bloomberg Radio.

The 2008 banking crisis meant people were out of work for a long time. Unemployment was extended from 6 months to approximately 2 years, with encouragement given to re-education to enter different jobs/apprenticeships over trying to apply for jobs which didn't exist.
That was Bush. He did the right thing.
You worry about the wrong things. Some of these jobs are never coming back. Telling someone to take a ten hour a week (or other sub-full time minimum wage) job just to save a literal drop in the budget bucket is unconscionable.
Again, those who want to work will work. But the jobs have to exist. You're exchanging unemployment for the byzantine nightmare of outright welfare, and see no problem with that. Unemployment is temporary, until shit shakes out for the new normal.
Take care of Americans. Don't worry about nickle and dime fraud -- a fraud which doesn't really exist in this special case.

I don’t worry about the wrong things.
Workers shouldn’t quit their jobs because they can make more on unemployment. This is happening.
Those who were laid off or furloughed should receive benefits. However, those benefits shouldn’t pay them more than they were earning at the job they lost.

Leading who? If you are looking at total deaths then the answer is because our population is much greater than many other countries. If we are looking at it as a percentage of the population, then we aren't leading anything and many of the European countries are much higher than ours.

I don't know. There isn't enough info on one yet. I don't take a flu shot each year, but do cover it for employees that want one. I don't see making a Rona Flu vaccine mandatory for employees. However, if our clients mandate that each pilot we provide for their company must have one, then we will comply with that.
