I was walking up Bascom Hill while they were filming this scene....
As I was walking up the hill I was looking to the center where all the cameras were and not
paying attention to my right.....all of a sudden some dude bumps into me....I'm like "WHAT THE FUKKK!"
It was Rodney in his robe walking to film....
I was one second away from all these pictures....it pisses me off so much...
I bumped into him one second before all these pictures were taken...

The ending was unbelieveable! So many wrecks in the last ten laps they had to go into overtime twice and then hundreds of feet
from the finish line Ryan Newman in the lead gets flipped and crash at 200 mph into his driver side....He might be DEAD!!!
They put up the black screens when they removed him from the car and rushed him to the hospital.
Still no word if he is alive!

That song has an interesting history. Bob Dylan wrote the chorus and melody in 1973 as part of the Pat Garrett & Billy the Kid sessions but never finished it. Twenty five years later, Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show wrote additional verses, and the band recorded it. Theirs is the best version I've heard, imo.
