I find the opinions of fans at ground zero interesting when my perception at 35,000 feet of David Shaw is: historically good coach but probably suffering from some lulls in recruiting (?).
Similar to Dantonio at Michigan State (didn’t MSU and Stanford play in the Rose Bowl a few years back?). Great coach but having a really bad season. Some Spartan fans I’ve heard want to can him. I can vividly remember MSU before he was the head coach and it was pretty laughable.
Curious if you give a guy, who has been a proven winner but has slumped, another chance or do you move on when the pastures may not be any greener.
Iowa is a good example of a program that has stuck with their coach (Ferentz) through good and bad, and for the most part have stayed relevant.

No reason to. When I make my beds, I usually try to recline in them.
It was the first time in a long time I didn't have two phones and a laptop everywhere. Felt naked, which isn't the right word at all. It takes a long time to get out of the mindset that everyone else's emergencies are your emergencies before your own.
So I got to learn late, what most people learn by their second child. Being a breeder has some advantages when it comes to life lessons, maturity and choice-making.
