There has been one interesting thing.

A road win in EVERY game.

Has this ever been done before?

I know there have been all home wins, but I doubt this has ever happened. I suppose I might have to scrrape up enough interest to watch game 7.

From what I heard that has not happened before.

This has been an absolutely overwhelming World Series. Total District dominance in the first two games to a Houston shit stomping in Games 3-5. My friend went to all three home games. All three losses. Which is why I don't overpay for sporting events anymore.

Remember when everyone cursed the Nats to hell in 2012 for benching Strasburg early? How did that turn out. 1.11 ERA, lowest playoff ERA in the modern era.

So sick and tired of these shit ballparks like in Houston with the short porches. Build real ballparks you douchebags.

Oh, and one sad thing: this series is on track to be the lowest rated WS ever. EVER. :x

All three major sports suck.
Hockey is fun live.
Tennis and golf have always sucked.
I watch euros on bike mostly.
No refs to fuck it up. No divas or flopping. Lots of carnage. Great “stadiums” with great views. Rain, snow, even dogs in the road. People two feet from the riders.
Very entertaining.

It is kind of fukked up that baseball allows pretty much whatever field dimensions teams want. And then teams shape their lineups to suit these dimensions. It would be like an NFL team deciding they have a weak passing game, so they'll go with an endzone that is 2 yards deep which favors run offenses.

Agreed. That was because back in the 100 years ago baseball was designing stadiums to fit in urban neighborhoods. Then they got away from building stadiums in urban neighborhoods and went to more standard 320-400-320 dimensions. But then the retro style came back into vogue and the owners liked being able to have quirky stadiums to have more offense and sell more tickets.

I think this is generally correct but also--games are too long. All the World Series games have gone four hours. They won't even embrace the 20 sec pitch count. Make these pitchers get in a groove and force these batters to stay in the fukkin box instead of grabbing their crotches after every pitch.
