I've always liked St. Marys. They also have a great Rugby team that gives Cal all they can handle. I like USF as well. As a kid, I would walk 10 blocks to their games when they were one of best teams in the country. It happens when you grow up surrounded by great schools around you. Being that you're from Alabama... I can see why this may confuse you and the other southerners.

Looks like there’s a few of you guys other than m200L that have some teams heating up before the tourney starts.

Namely Papa & Dinsdale.

I watched about 5 mins of an Oregon game earlier this year before I had to change the channel. That court design is horrible.

Allbarn with an impressive win. Congrats. I still think Tennessee is one of the best teams in the country.

I thought Washington's defense would take care of Whoregon. I should have seen their demise after Cal beat them a week or so earlier.

Not sure why the committee is so enamored with matching Wisky and Oregon year after year. I think it's Oregon's year. One and done for the Badgers.

I've never been to a game at The Matt. But I've been told by multiple people that the court looks very cool in person... TV, not so much.

It can't be too awful, since, like most things Oregon does for style points, it's spawned dozens of imitators.

In the next couple of seasons, you'll see a ton of CFB teams sporting the huge numbers on the football jerseys, too.

And Goobs -- don't you and I go through this like every other year?

Whoregon is a bad match up for the con. The quacks are long and Wisky doesn't do well against long teams.

If California's Canada can get out and run... it'll be a long day for the Dahmers.

Seth Davis says Oregon is the hottest team in the country. And also a conference champ. I realize the PAC sucks hugely, but 12 seems an awfully low seed for them.

Just over 2 weeks ago, they were 10th in the conference. Then they figured out how to play defense.

It's not that the Ducks think they can beat anyone out there right now -- they believe that no other team belongs on the same court as them. An attitude that's dangerous for opponents from a team playing with house money.

You are probably correct. However you won’t see it on the jersey’s of tradional powers that have a strong brand. Bama, Michigan, Texas etc are likely to change up their look cause Nike is pushing a new fad.

Speaking of which, I find it strange that the committee put Minnie and Sparty in a possible 2nd round game. I though they purposely tried to keep intra-conference matchups out of the opening weekend.

Could have easily switched Minnesota with Seton Hall. Just doesn’t make much sense why they did this.

Auburn should feel good about getting that W. NMSU guard should’ve taken the easy layup so he didn’t have to watch his buddy miss 2/3 free throws. Holy shit.

I called the easy win... due to Cal State Eugene's length.

The fact that they can't run is why they'll lose to Cal i. on Sunday.
