Nothing says "Florida is open for business!" like telling your residents to spread 'em because the governor wants to screw its largest taxpayer over his bigoted legislation.

“GRAIN VALLEY, Mo. (AP) — The school board of suburban Kansas City high school has told its teachers to remove cards and stickers that show they are allies of LGBTQ students.

Officials in the Grain Valley emailed families on Monday saying the school board had directed administrators to remove cards or stickers that may read “Safe space for all.” The directive came after members received “a concern” about the cards and stickers. The email said the district remains committed to helping create a safe and inclusive environment, but the cards were “not appropriate at this time.”

The Kansas City Star reports some parents, teachers, and advocates have objected to the decision.”

Because we wouldn’t want people to feel safer.

How about treating everyone the same and quit isolating groups?

It shouldn't be necessary to create "safe spaces" for any particular group.

Ridiculous.

All of these snowflakes who need safe spaces are going to be very well prepared for adulting.

Anyone in the workplace expresses a different opinion on a project and they will not be able to debate the differing views and will have to run to HR for a safe space. Thankfully we don't have any of those at Seater Industries.

I'd be fine with US History being taught...as long as it doesn't exclude important events that involves black Americans (i.e. Tulsa Race Massacre).

The problem is that conservatives are arguing against teaching about such events by lumping it all together as "CRT," which is erroneous & inaccurate. That's how republican Youngkin got elected governor of VA (confederate state). Those states that were on the losing side of the Civil War (yes, you lost) have no intention whatsoever of teaching US History in a manner that incorporates the history of Black America in a way that reflects where we are today as a country.

Again with the labeling of history by race. This is the problem. History is history and should be taught without a racial lens.

Teach that the south were all democrats and the southern democrats wanted to continue to own people instead of paying them to work for them.
That the Republican Party was created to end slavery, that Lincoln was a Republican and that Republicans died by the thousands to free slaves.
That the 14th amendment was created to keep.newly freed slaves who were all. Orn in the USA from being put on boats and sent back to Africa or to South or Central America where they'd be sold back in to slavery.
That the Civil Rights laws were first written by Republicans like Richard Nixon and that the Jim Crow laws were all written and championed by democrats...even Martin Luther King was Republican.
That the KKK was started by democrats and democrat politicians like biden and the clintons were endorsed by and spoke up for Klan members
That democrat newspapers like the new york times supported adolph hitler and the national socialist party of Germany while doing all they could to keep the US from going to war with Germany.
And then all the D’s turned to R’s and then the R’s tried to a coup when the blacks in the D party got to upitty.

In early 1957, Nixon undertook another foreign trip, this time to Africa. On his return, he helped shepherd the Civil Rights Act of 1957 through Congress. The bill was weakened in the Senate, and civil rights leaders were divided over whether Eisenhower should sign it. Nixon advised the President to sign the bill, which he did.
The Senators that weakened the 1957 Civil Rights act were democrats Strom Thurmand and Lindon Johnson who was rewarded for weakening the Civil Rights act by being named Vice President for jfk

https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Nixon
LBJ wasn't "rewarded" with the VP slot for not supporting CRA prior to '60. He was nominated because northerner JFK needed a southerner to pull votes in the south. Being a senator from a state having as many EC votes as Texas he was a natural pick. Mix in a history book, numbnuts.

And yet again you showed your stupidity by not looking for the correct spelling of LBJ's first name. It's really not that hard to Google LBJ to find out that it's spelled Lyndon. But yeah, you're really a credible source when you can't even spell or look up famous names. :meds:
