Ok. I'm not impressed. "Hand That Feeds" is the best song on the album. :(

I picked it up on Tuesday. Listened once so far, OK if not great.
I'll see if the DVD side of the "DualDisc" with the 5.1 mix makes any difference.

Put a copy in front of me, and I'll burn it.

One of the worst bands to foul the airwaves in the history of radio.

No way, dude!
There's plenty of others that are far worse, IMO.
It's a list too long to mention, but the short version is "almost everyone else". :P

This CD is really growing on me. I can't stop listening to "Every Day Is Exactly The Same." I just finished listening to some of the 5.1 mix, and it's pretty fucking dope. It's not The Downward Spiral, but it's the best thing they've (he's?) done since...

Patsy,
Keep listening. There's way better stuff than "Hand That Feeds" on this CD.

Finally got a copy if it. And quite frankly Im disapointed. Trent has gone as far as he can with his music. This album could have been ALOT better. The song writing on this album is weak, and repetitive. I turned it off after song 8(I got a burned copy). I'm really disappointed in it.

Concur with that part. At least, it's better than The Fragile, IMO.
There wasn't much more about that one I liked besides "Starfuckers".

the fragile is a fucking masterpiece. And with teeth is a great album. right it doesnt sound like his other work...errr because it isnt supposed to. trents music is always evolving which is quite simply why most of you dont get it.

Wrong! :P
A friend turned me on to "Pretty Hate Machine" not long after it came out.
I liked the dark synth riffs in that one.
Loved "The Downward Spiral" as well. I just wasn't that impressed with "The Fragile".

I've listened some more, and its growing on me. I'm still not impresed with the second half of the CD but its not a bad album,I justt hin Trent coulda done more with it.

A horrible band.

I remember seeing NIN at the first Lollapalooza at Saratoga Performing Arts Center. Brutal rainstorm and the power went out during their set and they couldn't finish. God Bless Mother Nature.
