BUT - you're absolutely right about "not driving in the middle of a protest". That's just beyond stupid. As little as we'd want to admit it, the natural human response to getting attacked while in a car in a situation like that would be to haul ass. And when his lawyer points this out over and over, I just hope there want the shit going down that there probably will be. He's not going to get near the punishment that will be expected.
