They stink out loud right now but I'm just afraid that they'll turn it on and we'll all look like chumps for mocking them. Somehow, someway, they'll get into the playoffs...we're only a month into the season.

What pitching do the Spankees have that's going to rescue them? Jaret Wright? The Big Broken Unit? Mussina has sucked this year also. Face it, they're dead.

George is too wrapped up in "Bellamy Road" right now. After tomorrow's run for the roses George will clean house. It should be fun to watch.

It'll be an entertaining sight to see him fire the jockey in the middle of the race
and replace him with Gene Michael.

(I'd say "the late Billy Martin", but that would make even less sense).

Chien-Ming Wang..... hahahahaha. (having a lot of Asian friends has made me an expert in Asian spelling)

Even if he does his best impression of Gustavo Chacin's rookie heroics, he can't carry the team. The Big Unit and Moose have to sack up.... and sack up SOON.
Say this three times fast.....

I don't doubt the abilities of the Yankees but it's the fact that they're running into guys hitting cold streaks and nagging injuries coming into play. Can this team stay whole for all 162? This is a team that can still win 2 out of every 3 games but they won't do it with Johnson on the DL and Matsui in a slump.
