There's a real short list of receivers who bettered T.O's numbers. His name is Jerry Rice. When the only guy ahead of you is Jerry Freaking Rice, you should be in. Leave it to the media honks to project their butthurt into the voting.

The counter to that is every team he piled stats on with dumped his cancerous ass when they still needed him. Not salary dumping an aging player or trading for juicy draft picks, but kicked his ass to the curb. That probably resonates with a lot of folks on that committee.
