I'll second that.

Webb Wilder is always a great show.

Doubt the food is as good though.

Looks like the average age in that place is about Sam + 10, and the average weight is Smackaholic + 20.
Is that the general population in flyover country?

Not that I'm a spring chicken or anything...

That couple on the dance floor is swinging a mean foxtrot.

At what point in the evening does Patrick Swayze come out and round-house kick someone in the face?

:?

I need to know this.

You wouldn't think that was funny if you knew someone that had been kicked in the face by Patrick Swayze.

awwww fuck, who am I kidding? if knew someone that had been kicked in the face by Patrick Swayze I would be an asshole and never let them forget it.

Yeah, run a small tornado through and add some corrugated metal paneling and it would be pretty close.

It's not the deck, it's the foundation... and that's my bailiwick.

No, I won't be going to any show that doesn't start until 9 pm. Like wolfie, I can barely stay up that late and do good to make it that far in Tune Town EST.

Besides, if I were to go to a concert in KC this weekend, it'd be Jackson Browne who plays here tonight. Sadly, I will miss that as well.

Was there a "saw" solo somewhere in their set?

Hey wags, look who's coming to Knuckleheads next April fool's day.

Too bad your no sense of humor, or taste, for that matter, having ass doesn't get DZ.

Scrote, you should see them.

Not sure why, but these dudes have a thing for Missouri. They play KC and STL every year, and not much else.

The two things Wags hates the most, cover songs and live music that doesn't sound EXACTLY the way it did on the album.

LOL

DZ is not a cover band. I mean, they do start with an LZ song, usually, but change it up enough that it's hard to really call it a cover. Check out Heartbreaker Hotel. It is fukking genius. Plant and Page are fans of them.

I wouldn't walk across the street to see Weird Al....well, maybe, if the tickets were free. These dudes, I would pay real money to see. Unfottunately, they never make it to my neck of the woods.

Make no mistake, I LOVE DZ. I'm just predicting, very accurately, the reaction Wags would have. I've played DZ when I was doing radio. He was not down.

I understand that wags is not down. But wags is a fukking moron. Anyone with decent musical taste and the slightest bit of appreciation for humor and creativity would be down. Just telling scrote he ought to check them out on youtube, anyway. I don't put them in the same food group as weird Al.

Wish those fukkers would not waste their 2 live gigs a year on those flyover bumpkins.
