Of the friggin' chain, man.

Dude, I never said Buzz Aldrin was on the Apollo 8 mission.

Apollo 8 and Apollo 11 are two separate things.

Did you watch the Buzz Aldrin clip?

You didn't.
Just flappin' your mouth without looking at what I've posted.

That carries so much weight coming from one with eyes that refuse to see and a brain that refuses to think.

Keep on keepin' on puppettart.

I've answered it - and it is also covered extensively in FLAT EARTH CLUES.

Byrd found the edge.
Antarctica was sealed off.
Decision made by U.S. authorities to not let the sheeple know that the world is not what they've been told.
Kubrick filmed the fake moon landings.
Reinforce the globe - and overall universe model that the sheeple have been brought up with.

A flat, enclosed earth = a Creator.
True?
Hard to get around that.

Keep the people stupid, uniformed, unaware of their real status -- thinking they are on a random rock speeding through space, around a random sun, among billions of of other suns and planets -- some of which surely must have life, because we are not arrogant enough to think we are the only life.
And we people are just random beings -- which evolved from sea sludge.
Worms, squirrels and monkeys are our ancestors.

Enclosed world = Creator

Don't have people know this.
They remain m0rons, like most in this thread.

Your "hypothesis" is based on myth.

It was debunked ages ago.

I would list you a dozen examples, but you wouldn't read them, so what is the point.

Also, you haven't answered the flat Earth question at all, just regurgetated conspiracy sites.

Prove your point with fact or get the fuck off the pot, your bullshit stinks.

If you take it as fact that the earth is round, fine by me.

Myself, I want to explore things more.

People REALLY don't like it when their round earth is questioned.

As posted previously...
lol

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/travelbu ... black.html

- The highest I have been is 41K on a 777 and I couldn't see anything but a flat horizon.

- I am an airline pilot, and the highest I have been is 41000'. Can't say that I have noticed any curvature. Not that I have been specifically looking for it either though. I would also guess that one would have to be at least 20 miles up to notice a curve without any instruments.

- My father used to travel on Concorde. When asked about seeing the curvature of the Earth, he thought it was pretty imperceptable, albeit beginning to become noticable, and probably due more to the power of suggestion or camera distortion than anything else.

Others on that page claim they've noticed a curvature.

This one was pretty interesting...

- From Concorde flying trans-Atlantic at 60K feet, it is imperceptible on the south side (towards the equator) and quite pronounced towards the North Pole. Really an amazing difference between the 2 views.

Btw, the shape of airline windows are made to enhance smooth movement through the air -- and these windows tend to round things viewed through them somewhat.
Couple this with the power or suggestion -- I mean, we all know the earth curves, so we must see one.

Whatever...

An opinion that is worthless.

I have friends and family members who have worked on Apollo missions, remember.

I've met and talked with a couple of astronauts and they were not lying.

I've seen some raw photos, straight from the missions.

Been working in film, television and photography most of my life.

Where is your real world experience?

Yes, that's right, you have none.

But please continue to flail, it's most entertaining.

But they didn't.
They all melted.

Aside from that, they are dirtballs.

One more thing. I have gone skydiving before, jumping from 10,500 and higher. The curvature of the horizon is plainly visible. But please pops, regale us with more of your made up statistics and charts. Then get back to me with any real world observations and experience.

Scott's favorite... space.com

http://www.howitworksdaily.com/how-high ... the-earth/

According to optical researchers, while we can fool ourselves into thinking we see the curvature of the Earth from high mountains, this is usually wishful thinking.
You should be able to detect it from an aeroplane at a cruising height of around 10,600 metres (35,000 feet), but you need a fairly wide field of view (ie 60 degrees) and a virtually cloud-free horizon. The reality is that clouds, hills and mountains mean we rarely get to see the kind of perfectly flat horizon where the curve would be most obvious.

Search a flat earth site, or Google your question along with the words flat earth and seek your answer.

The answer to these questions are out there.

Rumps, you can believe what you want about that, but I really have no idea how people think man evolving up from sea sludge ---> to squirrel ---> to monkey ---> to man, can align itself with God's Word.

It's a fantasy.

Genesis 1 and 2 plainly say that God created man from the dust and breathed life and soul into him.
Is says nothing at all about us coming up from animals, who have no soul.

This is a silly compromise and it is the dumbing down and diminishing of our status.

Genesis 2:7
And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.

Genesis 1:26-28
[26] And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth.
[27] So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them.
[28] And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.

Then I'd be glad to entertain questions or discussion.

At this point, most of you are simply not prepared to entertain the idea that the reality you've been indoctrinated into may not be the true reality.

Or... don't watch it.
