The idea that someone needed to watch a video to figure out how to make a fucking breakfast sammich is mindboggling.

I use a glass mixing bowl. Drop 2 eggs in it, cover with a slice of cheese, throw it in the nuke for about a minute and a half. Use a plate to cover it over as eggs have a habit of blowing up in microwaves. Pull it out, use your prewarmed plate to build the perfect egg/cheese sammich on a bagel. The bowl is the perfect size to make a bagel sammich stuffing. Throw on a little meat of your choice, and sliced 'maters if so inclined. If you insulted my sammi as being eggmcmuffin like, I would break my foot off in your ass.

I didn't ask but am guessing both parents probably work in most of their cases
That's the way it was in my house. My brothers and I also cooked dinner on weekdays. Mom packed lunches for school.

You have to pierce the yolk, moron. And a proper omelette is even quicker to make than that.

Yeah but you have to get a pan out and stuff.

I do it this way because it is fast, easy and it makes the perfect bagel shaped egg. using a frying pan may be quicker once the pan is hot, but that takes a few minutes. I like to leave the yolk intact as I like the yolk to remain liquid. Piercing it tend to make it mix with the white which I do not prefer. It does mean that the egg goes pow if left in a bit to long, but, oh well.
