Nice to hear from a local florist.

Do you do gay weddings? Toolio and Felcho want to know.

Only if you tongue YOUR poop off the tip of my dick.
Your gay fantasies are every bit as predicktable as a Tiger mini-meltdown.

If that's what they are, it's odd how you always come running to lick them up.
I rest my case. Faggot.

Eldrick is inside the top 20. If he finishes inside top 12 after 4 rounds I'd say that is pretty damned good for a guy who hasn't played competitive golf in 9 months.

Serious question for you and Screwey -- have you ever actually played golf?

I have, quite a bit. And if there's a solid object buried under a shitty lie (like say, a tree root), and the club hits it after contact (like enough to send a chunk of tree root flying), the player hitting it is pretty much done for the day (props to Tiger for continuing).

Years ago, I was playing with a friend, and he actually broke his wrist doing pretty much the same thing.

Let's not be hasty with that judgment, OK? Derek Jeter was pretty swell.

Tiger Woods suffered an injury scare on the ninth hole when he hit a root on a shot from the straw, but he appeared to shake it off and was able to finish his round.

Tiger finished with a 73 on Sunday to land in a tie for 17th with Sergio Garcia at 5-under. After his round, Woods did an interview with Bill Macatee where Tiger was asked about the injury.

Woods very calmly explained the injury to the shock of Macatee.

"A bone kinda popped out, joint went out of place, but I put it back in," said Woods.

"Really?" said Macatee.

"Yeah," said Woods.

"Wow, OK," said Macatee.

The replay didn't seem to show Woods pop anything back into place immediately and Woods never specified what bone, but if he did dislocate something and pop it back in that's pretty insane.
He popped a wrist bone back into place?

What a fucking tool.

I'm not doubting that he hurt or even "broke" his wrist hitting a root, but I AM doubting that a bone popped out of his wrist and that he popped it back in. Both ponderous AND preposterous.

With the ascendance of McIlroy and Spieth, golf will get along just fine with a pedestrian Tiger Woods.

The game will get on. There will also never be another player like Edlrick for some time. Let me know when someone else gets in hailing distance of 79 wins. Then we can talk. Right now the kids are driving good, they are putting good and they're doing everything it takes to be legends. So you pat them on the back and tell them not to turn into Ian Baker-Finch or David Duval.

Or Ralph Guldahl! Or whomever!

Sure, when you have a 95 mph or less swing speed, you probably can shake it off.

So do you honestly believe that a bone popped out of place and Tiger put it back in place? A wrist isn't put together like a shoulder.

I wasn't watching when he hit that root, I was enjoying perogies, kielbasa and Russian Easter bread with the in-laws. Second, I'm not a fucking doctor. Whatever he did worked for him. And it is pretty obvious from this picture that he hit something.

There was never any question that he hit something. The question that a lot of people had was the idea that a bone popped out of place and he popped it back in place. Not bloody likely.

What? Was there no Tom Hanks film festival on TV?

I watched most of the 2nd nine. I didn't see Eldrick mash his wrist. If the tournament was closer, I would have been more insistent about watching.

BTW: I did see Spieth gag on the putt for the record. Ouch.

It really didn't look like a gag to me, more like he just wanted the two putt and the jacket.

about 7 or 8 years ago when I was playing the Gearhart Golf Links and they still had it set up as a links style course, i remember hitting an 8 iron that simply stopped when it hit the ground (probably hit it into one of those little mounds) and it felt like I pulled every muscle and tendon in my left wrist.....took me about four holes before I could hit a decent shot again......I've hit roots of trees lots of times, but I'll never forget that eight iron at Gearhart

Would you believe I've never played Gearhart (the oldest course in the Northwest)?

The McMenamins bought it, so I'm sure they fucked it up.

yeah, they took all the character out of the course when they changed it to a more conventioal layout....fuck if I want conventional layouts I can find them up and down the oregon coast....the whole golf links personna was what it special....now they overcharge for green fees, treat you like shit, and can't understand why their revenues are decreasing......
