Yeah, yeah, I know it's technically in the southeast, but Duke is in the ACC. I didn't realize the laws of ball-sucking extended to other conferences in your general region. That would be like me latching on to Notre Dame or Iowa State's nutsack.

Still, I don't tend to lump NC in with deep south SEC states like Jawja, Alabammer, and Mississippi, Waffle House be damned. Hell, there are Waffle Houses in Northern Indiana, and at least one in Michigan that I know of.

Wisconsin's lack of a great playmaking (whether scoring and/or passing) guard was the difference in this one. Sometimes you need a guy that can go get a bucket.

It's Duke. What kind of homo roots for Duke except for Duke fans? Had they played Allbarn or any SEC team not named Kentucky, I'd have rooted for any of those teams as well.
