That's the response I was fishing for.

Schmuck will be pleased to know that there's more from Cali than from Oregon.

And a couple of Asians (not Asian-Americans) mixed in for good measure.

Casey Martin has the program rolling these days. (See what I did there?)

Just an issue of health for Tiger, methinks.

He is human, after all. And when us mortals get hurt, and can't play for a while, we suck until we get out and play a few rounds.

I think he's at the make or beak point in his career -- playing a few tourneys a year isn't going to cut it. Either his body can sustain a regular schedule, or it can't. Time to once again dominate, or ride off into the sunset.

Looks like he might have some serious yips. Maybe he should invest in a belly putter.

Although when Tigre has a layoff and has to shake the rust off, he goes out and stinks it up to the tune of 82, while many of us are hoping to shake the rust off and get it back down to 82.

And yeah, Goobs -- that chipping game was atrocious. I would have thought that's what he was working on, but apparently not... but I'll bet he is now. But, like you guys know, after a layoff, chipping sucks, even if you practice. Just have to play, and get used to different types of grass.

Then again, those guys are looking to spin the ball way harder greenside than I am (although the older I get, the harder I can spin the short shots). But getting those steep approach angles takes serious confidence.

He's toast.

I won't say he's toast. He's still under 40 and just needs to play and compete and get that confidence going. But these wave of young players (Speith, McIlroy, Manassero, Koepka, Fowler, Reed, etc.) don't give a shit about his mystique, intimidation, and legendary runs. They are aggressive and play to win.

Even if Tiger gets to Sunday and is in the final group, these kids aren't going to back down like we've seen in the past.

Tiger has a huge hill to climb and he's going to have to do it on skill and knowledge of the game and courses. His presence won't help him.
