Maxwell House Columbian with a shot of milk in it. I quit adding sugar decades ago. I've got one of those small (4 cups) Mr Coffee brewers that will fill my travel mug about 1 and 1/2 times. I only drink coffee first thing in the morning while working a crossword puzzle and taking a shit.

I make two cups of this in a French press each morning, then add a little bit of half-and-half. I might start making it with a high end bottled water, just to piss off Whitey.

I mail order a "Kona Blend" in 2 lb bags. Not sure what the actual blend is but it tastes really good - a medium roast that's great with bfast. I grind it one pot at a time to a medium grind and brew it in a Cuisinart drip machine that I got at Costco. Always black and not sweetened, unless I'm drinking it at night with booze mixed in.

Any guy who likes straight black coffee is OK in my book. If you need a little cream and sugar, no problem also.

That said, I do not like coffee. I've tried much cream and sugar and it still tastes bitter to me.

I'll stick to my tea. I do love the smell of coffee. I do not know why I don't like the taste.

What about on the road. 1 dollar any size mcD's is about the only thing worth buying there. They use newman's in these pArts. Near as good as Starbucks. I have become a fan of the 'bucks on e they started pricing it normally I will take with c&s there with some cinnamon

At work it's just straight black whatever shit we've got in the break room (usually Folger's) with a shot of cold water to power it down quickly.

At home I brew spice coffee with cinnamon and nutmeg and sweeten it a bit with turbinado sugar or Irish cream on occasion.
