Applewood Smoked Bacon PET

Got some pork belly for 3 fitty a pound a couple weeks ago. A seven day cure, rinse, set for a day in the fridge and smoke for about two hours at 225. Your mileage may vary. Bacon is stupidly easy to make and much cheaper than grocery store dreck. Pack it in vacuum seal bags and it makes great gifts/barter material. Friend of mine has shitloads of tomatoes this year. Add lettuce and bread. Die happy.
