I've watched enough baseball now to know the flow of the season.

At the all star break the Sox won a huge game and I took some time to reflect on a tough start to the year for Boston.

Just to break it down, the Rays are done, the Orioles don't have the pitching to hold up, the Blue Jays are a fluke, and the Yankees are whored with injuries.

Boston has a great pitching staff and bullpen and the sticks to go on a run and win the AL East. I am calling it- they win the division.

I admit I totally fucked up on this forecast; I'm just so used to seeing Boston win dramatic 9th inning games and kick ass down the stretch...there was absolutely no doubt in my mind that they were going to win the division and I still can't figure out what happened. But I was dead wrong.

No worries though....getting Lester back plus the deep farm system sets up the Red Sox for many more years of winning championships.
