I'm right there with Scott on this game. I think Denver tightens there game up a bit and while it will be close, I just think Manning is due. The thing going for the Pats, beside Brady, is that this is Belicheats best coaching year to date, and anything could happen. Still, that being said:
Broncos 35 Pats 28

As for the NFC game, damn I dislike both of these teams. But if I have to choose, San Francisco simply looks better. Seattle has the talent, but something is a little off with the offense, just as Scott and others have brought up. As the bile rises making this pick:

Seattle's offense is non-existent save for Marshawn Lynch-if Harvin makes it out of the locker room, I'd call it
Seattle 23
Niners 21
if Harvin doesn't make it on the field, I'll say
Niners 24
Seattle 17

Denver's game should have been a bigger win, save for an interception in the endzone and a questionable fumble by Julius Thomas.....but the defense once again showed their vulnerability to being beaten with the pass and New England shows up with a much better pass offense than the Blots.....

I think this game is a shoot-out and who ever has the last possession will likely be the winner......
Denver 38
Patsies-34
get out, get out while there's still time

My preseason pick was a Niners/Dongholes Superbowl. Too late to back off that now.

Despite seeding, SF was the betting favorite in that game... probably what $cott meant, I'm sure.

The NFC game will be epcot. There's no love lost between the coaches, players, and cities.

SF was a 1pt favorite in that game

Also despite record, it was clear the 49ers were one of the two best teams in the NFC

Carolina was a lot like KC, they improved in large part by playing a softer schedule
Got it.....but the top four seeds did not move on with SF being the #5. I agree SF is the best team left as far as I am concerned and will win it all.

NE-DEN It makes sense to go with Denver but I see the Patriots finding a way to keep Manning off the field, and when he's there, they will let them run the ball and then play good red zone D and hold them to FGs. Patriots 34, Broncos 30 another Manning INT late and choke job in playoffs.

SF-SEA People high on San Fran but Kaepernick will get his ass flustered by the noise and Lynch powers his way to a solid game and the Seattle DBs get some key turnovers. Seahawks 23, 49ers 16

A stupid take from a stupid bitch.

It's only two of the best QBs to ever play the game squaring up again with a conference championship on the line and in the other game, two of the best defenses in the league with rising stars at QB tearing each other up for the 3rd time this year.

If you like professional football, yes, these games are worth watching. If you are a brainless twat, your mileage may vary.

Funny. The "World-Wide Leader" did a feature on the of Emerald City's "unique tradition" ( :meds: 'sup aTm ) of raising the 12th Man flag. Yet loud as that half-roofed, sound-trapping erector set is, it only edged out KC as the loudest venue in the NFL by 0.1 of a decibel point. Poseurs.

Edit for Scott: The boys are already working on wytching an English-language version of your GOT vid. They. Loved. It.

I think the officials are more intimidated by the crowd than the 'Niners are.

Where was the call on James's punt return? The guy hit him in the head and pulled his helmet off by the facemask.
Two incredibly cheap personals went the other way, why was this not called?

So what was the call or non-call then? Is it now illegal to lead with the shoulder in the Nancy Football League?

Settle down, fatboy.

Roughing the kicker is the stupidest fukking rule in football. Kickers should receive the same protection as QBs. If it is judged that the rusher had a realistic chance of blocking the ball, contact should be allowed.

Kickers are a lot more exposed than QBs are.

Either you block it or you don't.
He didn't block it therefore he didn't have a realistic chance of blocking it.

its called the defenseless receiver rule

it's a pure judgement call -
It is pure bullshit.

how is the tackler supposed to figure out whether or not the guy is defenseless?
