Super Bowl - Off The Wall Predictions Thread

Post by Mikey »

LaMichael James breaks off a long (50+ yards) TD run.

Randy Moss makes finds a new way to make an ass of himself (OK that's not so off the wall).

I'd say stick a fork in SF... but I said the same thing when it was all Atl in the first half of the NFC CS game 2 weeks ago.

But still, SF is getting crispy.

No shit. Flacco must have sold his soul to the devil or something. How many impossible throws has he made in this postseason?

It's a contract year for Flacco and he's looking to get paid, BIG.

Looks like he will, if not by Baltimore, somebody else will.

Would Jim consider switching to Smith at this point? Kaepernick looked like he bounced back from that pick...I'm sure he wasn't looking to give away a shot at points on that 3rd down play before the half. He smartly ate the ball and took the 3 rather than forcing a ball into heavy coverage.

The Niners pass rush hasn't really been that effective...Flacco hasn't been tested at all. He's been great with the deep ball all playoffs long.

I predict they will pre-plan a power outage in order to fit in more ads and generate more revenue.

They're down a zilly points. I don't see how bringing in a game manager at QB will help them at this point. Gotta stick with capper nick for better or worse.

It's one of the worst rules in sports, imo. I just don't get why you can't so much as graze a guy wearing pads with your fingernail AFTER the ball has been kicked, making any sort of contact inconsequential anyway. Make the penalty less severe at the very least. Don't make it a momentum killing, game changing penalty.

Horrible play-calling by SF in the red zone there. Tons of time left. Run the ball out of zone read. Score and kill some clock.

Rack the Ravens! Hell of a game. The right Harbaugh won tonight.

For the record, the evening of Sunday, Dec. 9 was when the Ravens were DOA after getting shafted out of a win over the Skins. Props to the Ravens for turning it around. Model franchise.

Excatly. They're killing them on the ground, why go away from it unless you don't trust your o-line?

Fuck the Ravens. It was handed to them by the refs.

Nantz and Sims wouldn't criticize a bad call if it hit them in the face. Sims was stumbling all over his own tongue saying they wouldn't call a penalty late in the game (WTF?) and that it wasn't holding...oh wait he was holding him with both hands I must have been confused but it was still a good non-call.

I hope Sims, Nantz and Ray Lewis all die together in an after-hours bar stabbing.

I wish they would have shown a full replay of James' fumble. There was either a face mask or a horse collar before the fumble but they never showed the replay from the beginning.

Mikey, you never struck me as the pussified sore loser type. SF lost fair and square. Take it like a man. You should be thanking your lucky stars SF was even in a position to win at the end, after getting cunt-punted up and down the field through 3.5 quarters.

Oh, the refs were responsible for the 40 minute delay that conveniently took place while the 9ers were busy being ass blasted?

BTW, you shouldn't attempt to video tape the TV while getting blown by Fat Joey from down on the corner.
