Sorry but what a way to waste good crabmeat ,
the cheese would kill most of the delicate flavour of the Crab
you should just used canned Tuna instead
You just can't fix stupid...trust me I've tried

I don't doubt that it was tasty but that is some expensive ass mac and cheese at the end of the day.

You said lump crabmeat in the recipe. Which is it? There is a pretty big difference.

You aren't getting lump crabmeat for $10 a pound anywhere on planet Earth unless you're a crab fisherman. Even low end, canned lump crab is going to be about $16 a pound and fresh would be twice that at the very least.
plus all the different cheeses will cost that much again more.

Are you kidding? The 8 oz parm-reg alone is over $10. A cheap fontina is $5, cheap asiago $6, probably about $3 for the cheddar. That's about $45 dollars for everything using only the cheapest ingredients. I could feed 15 people smoked tri tip, ranch style beans, salsa, potato salad, green salad and garlic bread for only a little over $50.

Solid technique, though. I'll have to try it with some ingredients that might be a little more reasonable for a 99%-er.

There's nothing ghetto about any of those cheeses.

Sea cockroaches... you can have them, I'll pass.

I don't really do turd-eaters, and I laugh at those who do.

That said -- I'll pull up pots and bring in crabs while fishing. Crabbing has been amazing here of late. BIG fuggin dungeness running around eating shit.

OK. Your recipe says lump crabmeat, though. They're two different grades of quality.

Cheddar?

Why not "kip it rill" and wash it down with some grape soda while you're at it.

:meds:

It's about as ghetto as it gets, bro'.
