Colorado won the Pac tournament. I'd guess they'd have been about .500 in the Big XII this year. not a stellar season for the Pac.

Shocked me.

Why ?

The PAC has the best record of any conference in the tourneys right now.

Watching the SEC has been flat out embarrassing. Opps, I almost forgot Miss St. giving up 101 points on their home court to some beaners from New England.

The Hawkeyes travel to Oregon on Sunday, so we'll see if Oregon can handle a lower tier Big 10 team at home. Nebraska is the only common opponent and both teams beat the Huskers in Lincoln....not that that means a hell of a lot, but it should be a good close game.

We tried an experimental dropping of our bball program this year. It did not translate into fan satisfaction, so the school decided to resume the program next year...with an incoming class that will allow howland to coach at least another year.

Yeah, rough year for the west coast b-ballers. Hell, the Cornhuskers would have contended in the PAC whatever.

Interesting stat I came across yesterday. Yahoo saying that ZERO teams left from the Pacific time zone left after Friday's action.

Hey, lighten up on Pac 12 hoops OK?

I mean, Stanford is in the final four for the fifth straight year.
