Recommendations for the kitchen novice

I've been lurking and reading some good stuff in here from folks who seem to know what they are doing.

I'm looking for some advice. I need recommendations for a good, solid food processor for my wife. She is currently using a combination of a normal blender and occasionally a small silver bullet for grinding.

What do you all use? Price range? Ease of use? Cleanup?

Thanks.

Cuisinart is my go to brand for food processors
they are a little bit pricier but they are the best non commercial ones I've used

I concur with missjo. However, I suggest you not use your food processor to cut sperm into your vinegarette.

I don't use it all that much but I have an 11 cup Cuisinart that (I think) I bought at Costco. Works well and seems like it's built to last.
