AFC Title Game Preview

Raiduhs @ Steeluhs

8)

I'm looking for a low-scoring game here.

Can't see Pittsburgh running well on Oakland, and the Raider defensive front (going against a weakened Steeler O-Line) figures to harass Ben all day long.
Yeah, he's damn good and will hit some downfield, but I see tough sleddin' on offense for Pitty.

On the other side of the ball you've got one of the best running teams in the league (Oakland) and a back who is playing as one of the best there is (McFadden) going against arguably the stiffest run defense.
Will be really interesting.
The Pats showed how to attack the Steelers (air it out), but Oakland doesn't have that same capability.
I could see Campbell gettin' his head knocked in, too, if he stands back there surveying the field.
Gotta get rid of the pill pronto v. Pittsburgh.

Kicking game favors the Raiders.

Tough to travel east and beat a good team, but Oakland did it last year when they weren't as good as they are now.
How is Pittsburgh mentally, after last week's loss?

Oakland is pretty healthy and they are fresh off the bye.

I'll call the upset.

Oakland - 17
Pittsburgh - 14

Thanks, trev.

I have no idea what I was thinking.

Steelers win 77-0.

Hard to say what's going to happen. The Raiders are a team that appears to be on the rise for the first time in a long time. And the Steelers have been decimated by injuries on both lines. Fuck if I know. For old times sake.

Steelers - 21

Criminal Element - 10

Does this mean the entire Steelers team will rape 21 Oakland coeds and Big Ben will only rape 10? I am confused.

Obviously you are not familiar with Chuck Noll's quote regarding the Raiders secondary as a "criminal element." Learn some NFL history and get back to me.

Why should I care about Steeler football history?

AFC Title Game Preview?

Have you even troubled yourself to look at your remaining schedule, pops?

At Pittsburgh: L Steelville is where the AFC West goes to die.
Miami: W Fish are a mess right now, but Tyler Thigpen has beaten the Raiders on the road before.
At San Diego: L Here comes their late-season charge...
At Jacksonville: L OK, so this one could be a win, but you're 3,000 miles from home and who knows which J-ville team will show up?
Denver: W Just awful. Last week was a mirage, and besides, the Raiders are in their dome.
At Indy: L Really?
At Kansas City: L Not this year, pirate-boy.

7-9 ain’t gonna get it, Sport. 'sayin'.

It's NFL history. Haven't you ever head "They Call Me Assassin" by Jack Tatum?

Yeah, it's prolly not the AFC Title Game preview, Tru'.
Pittsburgh won't make it.

Truth be told, I'm just glad Oakland has gotten it together to be competetive and worth caring about again.

There's a very good vibe right now.

Defense is playing well.
Kicking game is very strong.
They are running successfully and McFadden is playing as well as any back.
A number of young guys are coming into their own.

Headed in the right direction, at least.

switching to in-game

Great catch by Ford, but that was a horrible PF

They should start fining refs for phantom calls like they fine players for helmet to helmet hits.

Not sure who to pull for in this game.

OK I've hated the Steelers since before the Immaculate Reception.
GO RAIDERS.

The Bolts will have time to catch you later.

LOL.

Nice return. Too bad the Stillers were caught tackling about half the coverage.

Steelers giving the Raiduhs a lesson.

This one's over.

Seymour ... ummm ... dumbshit move there, partner.

Pittsburgh defense is the story in the 1st half.
Completely shut down the Oakland running game.

Campbell holding the ball too long.
Recipe for disaster v. the Pitty pressure.

Damn, Ben REALLY squeezed a few passes in to tight areas, to say the least.
Makin' plays.
Scoreboard.

Steelers were ridiculously hosed twice with phantom "roughing" penalties early on.
That was weak.

All props to Pittsburgh here.
They took it.

Steeler pick six comes back on a COMPLETELY bogus roughing call on Harrison.

Time to make it flag football, league office.

Maybe there is something about playing the Raiders that makes teams become sloppy and unfocused? Fortunately the Raiders are a perfect matchup for the Steelers as they are absolutely dependent on the run and become shallow and predictable when the run is stopped.

True- the Steelers are one of the least penalized teams in the league, yet they were dinged 14 times for 163 yards worth? :meds: The Chiefs are right there in least penalties too, but against the Primer and Soot they were flagged 12 times for 100 yards.

Sounds like the Raydahs have a knack for making teams play DOWN to their level.

What's weird is that not one of those offensive linemen had the balls to do anything in retaliation. Seems like a bunch of pussies to me.

What's weird is that you don't know what the fuck you're talking about. Keamoateu drew a 15 yard penalty for retaliating.

He didn't get ejected. Are you saying that it would have been better for one of Ben's o-line to get tossed, thereby weakening an already suspect group? Get fucked.

I'm saying someone from the Pittburgh Steelers should have grown a pair on the field and decked Seymour. You have a bunch of cock gobblers Bri and won't sniff the Superbowl this year.

Seymour got his ass ejected and you think it would have made sense for a Steelers player to follow suit? That is just about the stupidest thing I've seen posted this season. Go fuck yourself with a broken bottle.

The mop is all yours screwy. They already offset the penalty with his bitch shove. Its a post possession penalty, meaning the touchdown counts, so why not show some attitude and punch Seymour right in his grill? Seymour punked a two-time superbowl champion quarterback on his own field, and the only retaliation is a shove? Yeah, that scares true superbowl contending teams. Grab your ankles Bri...your squad is filled with pansies.

"Word" is that Ben said, "Let's go kick the extra point," as he came up from behind Seymour and DID make contact with him.

No excuse for Seymour's bitchslap, understand.
Stupid move on Richard's part.

DFan is right.
If my team's QB gets clocked like that - and especially on our home field, all bets are off.

I thought it was great. It's not like he premeditated it. It was a snap reaction. Rapistberger should be more careful of whom he mouths off to after a play is over.

I already had a great deal of respect for Seymour, now even moreso.

RACK that badass motherfucker.

He should keep mouthing off it it gets the opponent's best D-lineman to self eject himself from the game before halftime.
