Happy π Day

Post by Wolfman »

π=3.14 that is or 22/7 a handy number if your are dealing with the geometry of circles. I'm going to celebrate with some fried seafood and a slice of key lime pie for dessert. Enjoy.

No, that would be just downright mean, Marty.

You are truly one of the worst pieces of shit to ever post on this board. Start giving up your paycheck for reparations now and then you can shut the fuck up about your racist blasts.

Incorrect, teacher. π ≈ 3.14

Lay off the fried foods, and don't choke on the pie.

Slide rule ? You are really dating yourself. I'm wondering if half the posters here ever used one. I had a "pocket Pickett" in college, not one of the long K and E jobs the engineering guys had on their belts. Years ago, my older son saw it and asked me what it was. I showed him how to use it and he was impressed. He quickly went back to his HP programmable calculator.

Mace raises his hand.

The pic you posted is identical to the slide rule I had in college.

My grandpa was an electrical engineer for Anaconda Wire and Cable. I ended up with his sliderule, which was a beautiful piece of precision tooling. Can't find it now, though.
