Not even remotely correct. When a player tests positive at the combine the NFL sends the test work to independent lab for confirmation. It takes 2 to 4 weeks for the results to be returned. This is exactly about the time the news would be breaking.

Well, this year was about the 8th time Kirk Ferentz was headed to the NFL according to Chris Mortensen. Somehow, he's still at Iowa. Ferentz has been reported to be headed to the Browns, Jaguars, Giants, Falcons, and Chiefs since 2002 by ESPN and their "sources". Tim Floyd was just headed to Arizona according to ESPN, that's after they reported the day before that Jeff Capel was headed there. They're never right.
