If Tech loses, and OU wins, there will only be a 2-way tie for the Big XII South, instead of a three-way tie.
In the 2-way tie, Texas would go to the Big XII championship game because of their win over OU. In a 3-way tie, the team with the highest BCS ranking goes.
Tech basically fucks OU if they blow this game.

Gotta give props to Herbstreit. On Gameday, he didn't pick Baylor to win, but he did say TT would have an OU hangover. Dude's been pretty spot-on this year. Phenomenal, in fact.

How do you have a "hangover" from a previous game if you lost? The term "hangover" implies you won and came out flat from the celebration of a big win the previous week.
