That is what today felt like. It was like I was watching a replay of the Oilers/Bills game on ESPN Classic. Except this one was worse because of how we lost that fucking game.

How can Sage Rosenfels look like Marino for 55 minutes and then turn into David Carr for the last 5. What a colassel meltdown by Sage and Kubiak.

I blame Sage for thinking he was Randall Cunningham on 3rd and 7 inside the Colts 40 with less than four minutes to play.

I blame Kubiak for calling pass plays with little time left against one of the worst running defenses in the league.

Fuck this. I can't take it anymore. Houston can have the Texans. I've had it.

Very tough pill to swallow there, Rumps.
Would have been a nice win to get for the Tejans to get.
Pretty rough to be looking ahead to the '09 draft ... in early October.
Not that Raider fan would know how that is or anything.

On the first Sage fumble, damn, hard to be TOO critical of him because he was trying to make a play.
But he didn't have to make a play.
Protect the ball.

Yep, easy for us to say.

On the 2nd Sage fumble, I'll say this ...

FUCK THE NFL TO HELL!

According to the explanation of the snow bowl tuck farce in New England in January '02, the Roselfels play was an INCOMPLETE PASS.

INCOMPLETE FUCKING PASS, YOU LYING, STEALING, COCKSUCKING MOTHERFUCKING PIECES OF FUCKING SHIT!

Rosenfels made a slight, but easily distinguishable, pump of his arm as he moved to his left.
He brought the ball in to touch his left hand -- which is NOT A TUCK, according to Walt Coleman, who said a tuck means the ball is brought ... all the way in the the body.
So by Coleman and the league's explanation, Sage was still in the act of a forward pass when he lost the ball.

Of course watching the play, there is no doubt that Rosenfels fumbled.

As did Brady.

At any rate, nothing will compare to the '93 playoff meltdown, Rumps.
This one stings right now, but it will fade away.

That was an AMAZING choke job by the Texans yesterday. Funny stuff. Sage didnt have to make a play and he was horrific those last few drives, they shouldve played it very safe. I dont think Kubiak knows how to nurse a big lead. Its not like he has a lot of experience with that scenario. One plus to the Texans losing again..and again, is that the locals in the neighborhood rarely give me shit about being a Cowboy fan these days. In fact, they're rather meek. My guess is the neighbors will be working out in their yards on Sunday a little earlier this year than last. Ton of empty seats at yesterday's game.

I was at the game yesterday and it was amazing to hear the buzz in the stands with 5 minutes to go in the 4th. People weren't talking about how awesome the win would be, but rather how were the Texans gonna lose it...everyone pretty much knew what was gonna go down before it happened. And when it did happen there were no boos or pissed off people in my section, everyone was pretty much laughing. The lack of care for this team at the stadium, let alone in this city, is pretty sweet.

This team finds the most incredible ways to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory.
I don't even get mad when it happens anymore. It's expected.

we get a pick late in the 4th, deep in the Dolphins territory, and the DB is stripped of the ball while trying to return it. Totally sweet.

May have spoken too soon (probably not, but they're within the 10 with 23 seconds left).

Andre Johnson made one of the best catches over a defender that I have seen.

Well holy shit. The Dolphins will probably return the kickoff for a TD.
