By the way, the Chappaquiddick Incident took place on 7/19/69. I'm not sure how you got the date wrong, seeing as this is one of the few things you post about...

Saddam Hussein becomes Vice Chairman of the Revolutionary Council in Iraq after a coup d'état on July 17th 1968. There was probably an after party with guns being shot into the air and stuff. We could discuss that.

Kennedy was also competing in the Edgartown Yacht Club Regatta, a sailing competition which was taking place over several days.[1]
