Speaking of, all games except the first game are on ESPN or the duce. Why not game one of FSU v Stanford?

Jsc,

I remember that LSU/Miami game like it was the back of my hand. I was glued to the tube during the game. Reason was because a high school friend of mine played for LSU. he was actually one of the best players on the team. Justin Bowles.

Our high school team won the Texas 5A State championship game in 1994. Brazoswood High School pitched no-hitters in both state championship games. Justin was the pitcher of Game 2, the final. Awesome player he was. He had a nice double in that Miami game. Hit the top of the fence in the air, almost a homer.

if 2 out of 3 included road games, the South still would have gotten kick-fucked.

I remember Justin Bowles name, but I can't connect a face with the name now. He surely has some great memories. 8)

And SoCal, although I don't know the people with the sign, they surely were just trying to be funny, considering that LSU lost Game 1 of the Super Regional. We like to laugh and party and celebrate here, we really don't want to fight the civil war again.
Justin was a curly freckled redhead who batted left and played RF. He had a hell of a run. Won the Texas 5A championship, played 1 season for Galveston College and lost the DivII championship final, and then won 2 CWS at LSU before going pro. He never made it to The Show, but he played for about 8 years minor league ball before going back to get his degree at LSU.

Indy, did you ever watch him play in the Minors? I love going to those games.

Never got to see him play. He was with Oakland's farm team after drafted playing on the Southern Oregon Timberjacks. Eventually, he was in the Texas League towards the end playing for Midland.

Here's his (uneventful) stats:

Just goes to show how good the pros are when one of the best players ever that came out of my High School could only make it to AA. And my high school is a perrenial powerhouse in the Houston Area.

Thats a pretty funny sign.

you do know that joke is a wwII joke about france? not a civil war joke

US - 360,000 total dead....Looks like the home team did a lot more dropping
Rebels - 258,000 total dead

Are Geography and History that difficult?

My guess is that FSU has a native american mascot and espn hates us.

Yeah, notice we haven't heard much about that recently.

Amazing to me that the NCAA even tried to get involved when the Seminole Nation themselves was supporting the school and their mascot. Hey, newsflash to the thought police, let those involved make their own decision rather than telling them what to think.

Props and all. Man that hurts to have a 3 run lead and let it go away. Granted the better team came and took it.

Props LSU. Hope we at least enjoyed the BBQ.

FSU had a chance to do what LSU did.

Sucks Rice and FSU had to go 0-2 but someone had to.

Fresno is on fire. I am bandwagoning them since FSU is out
