But up until today I would've called him a disloyal traitor to DEI.
Then i read my SI that just came in the mail today with him on the cover, and I guess I've softened my stance somewhat. Good story with some background on him and Hendrick that I wasn't aware of.
But I still hate it that he had to go to HMS to get the ride he deserved. :brad:
The boy can drive the wheels off a race car, and I guess now we'll see what he's really capable of. It doesn't suck that at least he brought Tony Eury along as his crew chief. I'm sure that was a package deal, so at least he's showing some loyalty.
And from the sound of the fans at Daytona when he won the Bud Shootout, his legions are still loyal to him. Or at least his daddy's legacy.
