Hall of Fame

Post by Adelpiero »

ok, so we know they were juicing and popping amphetamines like candy, so why dont these guys get in?

these guys should be shoe ins now!

andre dawson
fred mcgriff
jim rice

seriously, these guys did it on natural talent, their numbers arent tainted, yet they suffer because of the roid clowns. The hawk was one hell of a player, playing on that carpet in Montreal stole 5-6 years and many steals, doubles, etc from him, yet he still went to wrigley and put up numbers, continued his defense, and should be in!

man, how did montreal never make a series, they had one hell of an outfield, and all of them had cannons for arms!

Jim Rice should get in within the next two votes or so. He's been gaining over the years and is very close now (72.2% of the 75% needed).

For me I wonder what the holdup is with Jack Morris. Sure he was a prick to the media (Eddie Murray is in right?) but some of his stats warrant much more consideration than he's gotten (42.9%).

Now that the 300 game winner will be extinct Morris' 254 wins will gain in value.

Three 20-win seasons.

12 seasons with 15+ wins.

175 complete games

Started Game 1 of the World Series with 3 different teams.

The game 7 ten inning shutout masterpiece vs. John Smoltz.
