Patriot's Point Spread Week 12

Post by Jack »

Patriots - Eagles point spread largest ever not involving expansion team

And according to http://www.footballlocks.com/nfl_point_spreads.shtml, New England -24 Philadelphia

**************************************
So, how many of you would/ will take the Patriots and give away 23 1/2 - 24 points?

I predict that the Patriots will beat the Eagles by at least 30.

I think the oddsmakers want to see some people actually bet against the number considering how the Pats have probably covered in every game given the ridiculous margin of victory this season. If McNabb doesn't play, I might take that -24 and run.

Almost every game. The only game the Patriots didn't cover the spread this year was when they beat the Colts 24-20. The line was Pats by 4.5 at gametime.

McNabb is OUT for tomorrow night's game. Take the -24 and run.

McNabb has a bad wheel and a sprained thumb. He's played like shit this year, regardless. The Eagles are better off with him NOT behind center.

The Eagles are keeping it interesting so far...would've thought I'd flip this thing off by 9:00 with the way the typical Pats game has gone.

Cool....the streak stays intact- that's all I care about. Philly put up a helluva fight, though. It was a far better game than I thought it would be, to be sure.

I was wrong!! Philly played an excellent game offensively and defensively!

I think that this game was close more because the Eagles played better than the Patriots played poorly.

Feeley over McNabb!! That's a no brainer, IMO!!
