Doves - Some Cities

In other news, this also came out today. I really like it. More straight forward than their last two releases. Still enough swirling delay guitars to satisfy, but not overbearing.

I haven't heard this yet, but I want to. Last Broadcast was great (except for the blatant theft of Bowie) so my expectations are high.

At Large, what's your take on Bright Eyes these days? I'm digging it...

I know I hooked you up with Bright Eyes, but I am firmly off the Bright Eyes bandwagon because I am sooooooooooo sick of reading about Conor Oberst in the local paper. It's overkill. It really is. My wife has a running joke, "Did you know he was from Omaha?"

So I haven't heard the new album, but if you like them that's cool.

However, in terms of native-born Nebraskans, I prefer Josh Rouse, who has a new album out called Nashville. His last album "1972" is excellent.

I like Josh Rouse as well. I haven't heard any recent stuff, but I liked his earlier stuff.
