can OU cover any one on 3rd and long, let alone 4th down?

i could be open over the middle against OU.

No shit.

What? Third and long, let's rush 4.

You'd think after about the third time, they'd make an adjustment, like, um, blitzing somebody?

I know, I know, that's all crazy and stuff.

OK, so I'm at a friend's house and on the first two posts I tried to make, his browser didn't respond. So consider that last post a "testing, 1, 2" post. Anyway, that was just a huge win for the Buffs. Sorry it had to come at the expense of OU, who have some of the classiest fans on this board, but I'm damn glad it happened. I can't talk a whole lot of shit, since I kept my mouth shut in the week leading up to the game. I'm just really proud of the Buffs, especially Dan & Cody Hawkins. This was the win that this program needed. I still don't think CU is above losing a game or two that they should win this year, but at this point, I don't think a bowl berth or a win over Nebraska are out of the question, which is about as much as you could hope for as a Buffs fan coming into this season. Fuckin' A! This is just a great feeling. Things are finally looking up...

The Corn had better start pre-stretching their assholes for day-after Thanksgiving.

Mike, you are now released from the sig you agreed to carry after our game. Even though you did'nt wear the tag I'm still releasing you.

Nice win, I'm happy for ya.

Memo to self; where the hell is skully when you want to pile on him?

What ever happened to that anyway? I remember making the bet, and I'm not a welcher, but I never saw a thread where you gave me a sig. I'd still wear it for the obligatory week.

Never mind. I dug up the old thread and realized that you actually gave me the sig before the game was even played. I will wear it with pride. Sorry about that bro...

Congrats on a huge win Mike. CU looks to be coming-together nicely. Hawkins is a hell of a coach, knew he'd get it going but not this soon. Scares me to think what will happen once Hawk gets more talent to work with.

What they said, Mike!
I still hate Colorado, always will...BTW my oldest son is living in Steamboat Springs. If by some God awful chance he remotely roots for CU,... which I strongly cannot imagine...(naw he NEVER will, I raised him all too good for that.)

Me: "Son..Al Queda or CU?..."
Him: "Colostomy or Neutered?"
Me: (Proud)

Huge props to my friend, CU Offensive Coordinator Mark Helfrich. Sorry to name drop but I've known him since I was 5 years old. In fact, his old man was probably at the card game I was supposed to go to tonight but I stayed in to watch WAzzu get blown out instead. Lame.

She had her knee replaced in July, so she's still working on getting back into playing shape. She knows the Blackshirts could use some help, and she still has some eligibility left, so she's thinking about walking on once she's done with rehab.

Does she tackle like old people fuck? If so she'll fit right-in on our D.

Name dropping is bad?

OK, then I won't give the name of the former NBA All-Star and GM that I was drinking beer and throwing grub with before the Ducks game.

Too many penalties.

Receivers did not catch the ball.

Malcom Kelley needs to be utilized better in the passing game.

Running game was very predictable (only 4 plays called the entire game that did not send the tailback through the RG/RT hole). One resulted in an Allen Patrick touchdown...

Two bad calls in the forth that cost the Sooners as well (interference on a punt return fumble that gave Colorado the ball in the red zone) but we also gave up too many points in the second half for that to have mattered overall.

Congrats Mike!

P.S. Can we line up all the mofos on the sooner boards who are talking like the season is over and shoot them like lawyers?
