The creator of the "BC" comic strip gave me many a chuckle over the years with his wry sense of humor. Dude was also openly christian and in many of his strips he let that show thru. His was one of the few strips along with Doonesbury and Dilbert that I looked at when opening the comic pages

RIP, JH. You'll be missed by millions.

Yah. Christianity and a comic called "B.C." featuring dinosaurs and prehistoric references ignored by the bible just mesh so well together. :meds:

Because there were a lot of paleontologists back when the Bible was written.

So what you're saying is that the earth predates the bible?

Otherwise they wouldn't need no stinking paleontologists, just some bible writing eyewitnesses who saw all the massive beasts.

oops. I guess the bible writers missed seen all those mastodons, and Ty Rexs, and velociraptors then. :meds:

but of course I was talking about a MODERN DAY comic writer dragging the Christian bible into his BEFORE CHRIST cartoon, which featured dinosaurs and cavemen.

You know, PREHISTORIC stuff that jesus never saw.

:meds:

I thought you lawyers knew shit.

B.C. was very little about pre-historic dinosaurs and more about life questions. Just Rack! the guy, he was very funny. He's to be counted among the old school breed of cartoonists like Charles Schultz and Mort Walker. I made the reference to his Christian bent just as a point of fact. You don't have to try and turn everything upside down just to promote the atheist agenda. Lord knows there's already enough of that here.

1. Dinosaur is a modern term and was not in use at the time of the Bible's writing.
2. There are many Bible references to 'beasts' (which are described as dino-like) using other terms in use at that time.
3. Do you realize how many things the Bible does not make mention of .... ?
At any rate, do you realize how many animals the Bible does not speak of .... ?
Does this mean, in your mind, that the animals not spoken of did not exist .... ?

Do your own search of cave drawings, artifact findings, etc ...... with unmistakable dino images.
MANY of them .... from different parts of the world.
It's very fascinating.
If your mind is open, that is.

Uhm, does the phrase "6000 years old" ring any bells?

Yeah, your mind is open to the taking of 10%.
