He lost his battle with cancer today.

That sucks. He was pretty much the only announcer I liked.

BP was a good ol' boys good ol' boy. I'll miss his voice doing the broadcasts. One of the most informed and entertaining announcers when it came to NASCAR, not to mention a very accomplished driver in his own right.

we all know that Cancer sucks...and back in October its reported that Benny had beat his Cancer. for it to turn this quickly is Sad.

from all that i know and have read about BP...he'd want us to celebrate all of the accomplishments of NASCAR...then maybe of himself during his lifetime.

Truly a CHAMPION!
