Tech gurus...

Post by Ken »

Yeah, yeah... it belongs in the tech forum. No shit. Too bad it's littered with threads like

'Favorite wi-fi spot?'
'So Florida sucks in a lot of ways'
'Get your own holographic TV'
'Cable'

... and it gets about 2 views/day. I'm throwin' this up in here.

Techies, before this gets moved to a forum where it won't get answered, let alone seen;

Beginning yesterday, any incoming emails i received had a 196B attachment with them titled BitDefender.txt. Still happening this morning. Of course I haven't and won't open any of them. Is there word out on the street as to what this is?

TIA... and hurry the bleep up before some mod sees fit to keep main street vanilla.

JSC, draw up the papers and submit them to PSU, RF & Otis.

Ken I'm moving your thread* we can't play favorites here, or people get their panties in a bunch (sup SG, Kat, RJ, poptart, etc).

Bitdefender recognizes and helps to block spam, virese, etc.. but if you are getting multiple e-mails, this may be SPAM in a Trojan Horse

>"format c" (enter)

> "Are you sure? Y/N"

> "Y" (enter)

Sounds like your ISP has started using bitdefender to protect against spam. Save the txt file. Open Notepad. Then open the .txt file from within notepad (this makes sure it's a .txt file). you'll probably see a report about your inbox.

If you have questions, contact your ISP.
